As silly and pointless as the Protestant churches are, at least they still retain an air of respectability. Not so the Catholics.
It's no wonder the Pope dresses like a pimp. The Catholic Church is one of the most corrupt and venal organizations on the planet. They are the mother of organized crime; the Vatican is swollen with wealth stolen from every corner of the globe; their priests are mostly devoted to the sacraments of faggotry and pedophilia; they practice a de facto polytheism, with "patron saints" (read: gods) of every conceivable human endevour; they have terrorized, tortured, and abused more souls on earth than any group in history.
I knew Allen liked to make nice with them but I just thought it was a nod to the oikumene. I had no idea he was actually crazy enough to sign up with these pagans.
I should be clear about this: I don't hate Allen or Catholics, and I don't care what religion he practices. I just don't want to hear him promote this kind of nonsense anymore on my beloved (and historically secular) WSB am 750. If atheists, agnostics, and skeptics had a voice on the station (or ANY station) it would be fine, but until then I will continue pointing out the absurdity of his belief system.

Well Allen, I guess that malevolent post of mine on the “Paulk Again” thread hit a little too close to home huh? Made you wonder doesn’t it. Made you think about the kind of dirt that’s out there, that’s just waiting to be dug up and exposed for all to see. Makes you wonder about your former boss and your pastor buddies? Money is truly the root of all evil. It can make even the best intentioned people do some really stupid things. Like lie to victims, allow ministers to lie to their congregations, actively engage in a well coordinated program of cover-ups, half truths, and deception. Some people you hold in very high esteem are involved in this sad charade and you are fronting for them by ignoring what you know is true. You’re being used. Anyway pal, it’s speaks volumes of you and your staff when you delete posts that call you out personally and you know are in fact true. When I wrote it I knew that you or a member of your staff was going to delete it. I just wanted to see if you had any moral courage. You know what moral courage is don’t you Allen? In case you forgot, Webster’s dictionary say’s that morals relates to issues of right and wrong and to how individual people should behave. While courage is the ability to face danger, difficulty, uncertainty, or pain without being overcome by fear or being deflected from a chosen course of action. Sound familiar. You’ve preached on these points before. But in this case it’s easier to preach rather than actually practice what you preach right? My point with that digression is that you Sir, along with the rest of your ilk, while able to point the accusatory finger at those who are clearly deviant in other church affairs, have no moral courage to use that same high and mighty ethical scrutiny, perceptive and insight to look inward at the way your own denomination is governed and adequately gauge the consequences affairs of the clergy in it. You have my post. You know whom I’m talking about and you know what I’m talking about also. Why don’t you show some moral courage and backbone and take the next step. Dig into what you know is true and expose the “conspiracy of silence.” Pick up the trash in your own backyard before you go tell the neighbor to pick up theirs. Show me and the people hurt by your former colleagues that you do truly practice what you preach. If not, then kindly shut the hell up Allen!! You have no grounds to speak on this issue again either on your blog or on your show without the “hypocrite alarm” going off. Oh and Allen, people like me lose their faith in Church because of Senior Ministers like the ones you and your former colleagues are covering up for. You have effectively proven to me that you are truly capable of talking out both sides of your mouth. Allen Hunt is a hypocrite. He has no room to talk about the Paulk(s) or any other ministers who do wrong in God’s name. Here’s the reason why. If you go to the “find a church portion” of Allen’s web page you will clearly see a posting for Sugarloaf United Methodist Church and the name of Tommy Willingham who is Senior Minister there. Let’s talk about a “caustic Church.” Ladies and Gentlemen this is it. The former Senior Minister at SUMC, Scott Ray was forced to resign after he was visited by none other than the head of the North Georgia Council of Methodist Churches “Bishop” Lindsey Davis and one of his cronies on the 12th of October 2006. Scott Ray was accused of a whole host of church crimes to include mismanagement of church funds. However, at the time of his resignation he was facing a “church indictment” of at least 11 counts to include sexually exploiting (adultery) and sexually harassing female members of the church. At least two other accusations of sexual improprieties where leveled against Scott Ray but were never investigated by the NGCMC or members SUMC Pastor Parish Board. Why you ask? Well, SUMC was founded right next to the exclusive Sugarloaf Country Club and after all the NGCMC wouldn’t want all those rich snobby WASP(s) at one of Atlanta’s premier luxury communities finding out that there well spoken, angelic, and ooh so pious minister was screwing around on his wife. Especially after Scott Ray personally assured everyone that he would never do such a thing. Here’s more dirt. Scott Ray was forced to resign his Methodist Credentials. In effect he was defrocked. Scott Ray even tried to deny this point on the Scan Gwinnett Website about a year ago but was pretty much called out by those of us that know what kind of person he really is and knows what he did.
Ahhhhhh but here’s the real clicker folks....the crème da la crème about this bogus church if you will. In Scott Ray’s final sermon on 22 October 2006 he was allowed to lie to the entire Sugarloaf United Methodist Church congregation about his reasons for leaving the church. Scott Ray committed this “sin” with his District Superintendent sitting right there with him and with his owe wife and kids in tow along with about 900 members attending. The things Allen Hunt doesn’t want you to know about his former minister colleges. The lie and cover up continue today with Allen Hunt’s prayer buddy Tommy Willingham and the rest of the staff of phonies at SUMC. Allen Hunt has preached at Sugarloaf United Methodist Church. So if you ever wondered why the comments were pulled so fast. Well wonder no more ladies and germs. In closing----
ALLEN HUNT NEEDS TO PRACTICE WHAT HE PREACHES!! BISHOP LIDNEY DAVIS AND THE REST OF THE NGCMC NEEDS TO COME CLEAN WITH THE NUMEROUS CASES OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION THAT GO ON ALL THE TIME IN THE NGCMC. Given what human nature is this sort of thing doesn't really surprise me. I don't know the details but it sounds like Allen is only tangentially involved though. I certainly won't put a stumbling block in front of anyone else's nemesing but I'm anti-Allen for theological reasons, not so much moral ones. If he was on YouTube screwing a donkey it would be endlessly entertaining but not something I would call him out for. The donkey, yes... but that's another topic entirely.
I don't know the details of this SUMC thing but it sounds like the sort of behavior that goes on in many churches. If he does another one of his "why don't people trust pastors" it would be interesting to hear you ask him about this.
Just re-reading the earlier post...the guy does have a point, if what he says is correct, that Allen shouldn't be condemning the Paulks church for ignoring all the unsavory goings-on. Like I said, I don't know the details. It would be interesting to hear Allen comment on this but I doubt he will. Maybe this sort of thing is why he left the UMC. Who knows.
Well no worries erik – not only is what this person says not correct, we all search in vain to find anything in it other than bullshit. This internet stalker has been posting this crap all over the place and we are sure it will continue. Sugarloaf is a great church with great people. We are all sinners but try to live tomorrow better than today. Leaders (old and new) for the most part don’t respond to this kind of crap because they know:
-Responding to crap brings more crap (We’re sure its coming)
-Anonymous allegations are much more exciting to read and pass on, and
-People will believe whatever they want anyway
But as long as this stuff is going to be out here, we thought we should clarify, Scott Ray wasn’t “defrocked”, removed or even asked to leave Sugarloaf by the local church or the Conference. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or just passing on nonsense. As for gossip about Scott, his wife or their kids, we all agree it must suck to be a pastor with people like this around who can anonymously say whatever they want. Anyway, we are all thankful for Scott, Tommy and the other leaders at Sugarloaf for the great work they have done. We are all moving on and excited about the future.

Wow!! I’m truly shocked(gasp). It appears this church has employed an “attack dog” to counter the claims made almost eight months ago by what appears to be a disgruntled congregate. So what if it’s a bunch of lies when you take the approach you have it only goes to illustrate that maybe they do have something to hide after all. As Shakespeare said “thou dost protest too much.” Also, I think you need to look up the term internet stalker in the dictionary. You appear to be the one that is stalking this or these people and may I add way to late.

I’m also shocked at your use of foul language and how mean spirited you are. How can you call yourself a Christian with such distain and hatefulness in your heart? I guess turn the other cheek and love thy neighbor is not something that is not practiced by the people in this church. It just goes to prove that you are a phony and so is this Sugarloaf United Methodist Church if it has people like you in their congregation.
