Decide something. Either I am right or I am wrong about Allen and his sleazy advertisers. There is no alternative. If I'm wrong then I should apologize to Allen and his sponsors and take back the things I've said. If I am RIGHT though, then Allen owes his audience an apology.
Surely among the hundreds who have visited this blog in the past couple weeks, there must be some people who think I am wrong. If that is so please show how I am mistaken (or lying or crazy) and I will do the right thing and apologize. But if I'm right then you should join me in calling on Allen to apologize to his listeners and ending his relationships with these people.
The good shepherd does not take money to tell lies.

You are very very RIGHT about Mr. Hunt. He could care less about his advertisers and more about how much money they put in his pocket....
He sure likes to talk about his trips and fine dining that he seems to do all the time.
However his popularity is not so great here in Dayton.... Our big talk radio station here (WHIO) used to run his junk show and he has now been dropped and Clark Howard has taken his place. Looks like they realized his show was a turd just like most intelligent people have already known...
Keep up the good work and maybe we will get him off of all the radio station that were stupid enough to fall for this dope...
Clark Howard is a great guy. He genuinely cares about his listeners.
You're wrong about Allen. And you need to grow up. Allen is already winning by not responding to your nonsense and clearly is the "bigger person."
"You're wrong about Allen"
-dogmatic assertion
"you need to grow up"
-ad hominem
"Allen is already winning by not responding to your nonsense and clearly is the "bigger person."
-Not true. He has responded by ending his relationship with some of these scumbags. This is an encouraging sign.
"by not responding to your nonsense"
-and the fact that you DID respond to my nonsense means what exactly?
I agree this guy is such a hypocrite. He claims his show is not about 'right vs left' but about 'right and wrong' but it is quite obvious this guy is a self-righteous conservative. All he ever does is criticize Obama, complain about the 'left wing bias' in the media, defends religious people. He claims to be a generous and humble man of faith but as you have pointed out half of his sponsors are work from home scams. It is clear Mr. Hunt prefers cash at the expense of his listeners.
I started listening to Allen Hunt when he first came on the air at WSB and found him refreshing but as of late I can hardly stomach him anymore. He's grown more and more pompous and self centered the more I listen to him.
I also found it odd he would be a pastor of one church and then completely drop that religion and join another. I was perplexed by this. So, does this tell us the first religion he was the head of is not a true religion?? I found that odd and certainly slashes his credibility in my eyes, and the eyes of many.
I find that Allen's tolerance of other religions is severely lacking. I have heard him bash Mormons, Muslims and other religions that he isn't a member of. This sets a poor example of Christ's love and tolerance in my book. Now I detest the Islamic religion, it's a religion of hate and violence, but to hear a pastor bash them is just unreal to me, and I don't have a public forum such as a radio station to voice my opinions. He does.
Tonight I heard him boast of being the pastor of one of the biggest churches in the Atlanta area. Whoop dee doo!! He is incredibly pompous.
If people call in voicing an opinion other than his he shows NO tolerance and he lashes out at them on the air.
Shame on you Allen. Take a step back and swallow some of that humble pie. We are getting to the point where we are having a tough time listening to your self centered-ness.
Erik,
We are enslaved by that which we hate. You...are a slave of Alan Hunt. Sad.
I've said over and over that I do not hate Allen. Love the sinner, hate the sin.
But you're a moron so why I am I wasting my time.
